What is Viral “McMigraine Hack” for Migraine Relief?

A viral “McMigraine Hack” on TikTok suggests that a fast-food meal of diet soda and salty fries may help relieve migraine symptoms.

United States: Over 10 million people in the UK experience this condition. It is able to alter careers, end the careers of some, and reduce the size of sporting communities.

What Is the “McMigraine Meal” Hack?

When such a hack appears to take care of, or at least help, with a migraine, people will want to give it a try.

Although there are accepted treatments, Alzheimer’s is incurable. Medication that a doctor prescribes can help – yet it’s not always successful, as BBC News reported.

For lots of people, solving their financial problems is not easy. Some come up with personal techniques: sitting in a hot bath while placing an ice pack on themselves and sipping a smoothie.

Now, another hack has attracted a lot of attention, called the McMigraine Meal.

Just one small diet soda and a bit of salty fries has been a hit for the hundreds of people praising it on TikTok.

Why Are People Willing to Try Anything?

If people claim these tricks have scientific reasons – how do they work in the body? A man called Nick Cook from Oxfordshire always has “a wallet full of drugs” with him in case he gets a migraine.

He will “try anything” to make the pain go away, as he mentioned.

“When you live with the condition, and you’re working a five-day week, and you need to carry on, you’ll give anything a go,” he added.

The pain at its worst can make him think his eyeball is being crushed. He thinks the caffeine and sugar in cola is what helps him, as BBC News reported.

Although he keeps taking amitriptyline tablets, Frank says drinking cola can help him make it to the end of the day without a full migraine.

“If I catch it soon enough, it can sometimes work when my vision goes fuzzy, and I can feel one coming on.”
